- Matter also reads articles aloud. How is FeedTalk different?
- Matter reads you the article you chose, and does it better than anyone here. FeedTalk decides what to replay — thirty-second Briefs served in your spare moments based on what you have not taken in yet — and composes several saves into one podcast episode rather than narrating any single one. Different jobs: one is a better narrator, the other is a memory engine.
- Readwise already resurfaces my highlights. Why add audio?
- Because a daily email of highlights needs you to sit and read it, and the moments most people actually have free — walking, commuting, queueing — are moments where reading is not possible. Readwise's memory layer is more mature; it is text.
- Can I move my library over?
- You can save anything into FeedTalk from a browser or a share sheet, but there is no bulk import from these three yet. Worth knowing before you commit a large library.
